There is nothing like a photograph to record your life’s
journey. I love nothing more then to slip into the background and capture the snapshots you see daily in your minds eye. That
look of love and innocence of a child; what makes you want to protect them for as long as you can. The smile on someone's
face; past the showing of teeth, but the one that is deep within the eyes; a true expression of joy. I truly believe that
my goal as a photographer is not to change my subjects, but to allow them to move and inspire me to capture them as they truly
are; allowing them to change me, the photographer.
I am from Louisiana
originally and called it home for 24 years until I move to the upstate 4 years ago. I go back to Louisiana
to visit family often, but can’t wait to return home to the Upstate for Simpsonville,
SC is my home now. I have always taken pictures for as long as I can remember
and found beauty in the candid moments you capture. I am married and have two lovely “children.” Gus, my husband’s
boy, a chocolate lab and Haley, my little girl, a yellow lab. Needless to say with them around life is interesting.
